Throughout history people have made pilgrimages to places they deem holy, like shrines, the sites of miracles or saints’ tombs. For some pilgrims it’s about the destination; for others it’s about the journey itself. Join Fr Brent to hear about his ethnographic work among pilgrims to the shrine of Our Lady of Vailankanni in South India for the annual feast in 2022 – in their own words explaining their spiritual experiences and motives. And if you have made a pilgrimage, share with us your own stories from Lourdes, Fatima or elsewhere. Light refreshments provided. Suggested donation: $5
