This weekend we are thrilled to introduce the newest members of our St. Agnes staff, Arianna Refuerzo-Carvajal and Dana Sherry. Please join us in extending them a warm St. Agnes welcome and be sure to say hello to them at one of our Masses this weekend!
Arianna Refuerzo-Carvajal: Office Manager Hi, I’m Arianna Refuerzo-Carvajal. My husband and I are native San Franciscans with three incredible kids. We’ve been part of the Saint Agnes family since 2017, and this past July was extra special when our son was married here by Father Alejandro.
As an administrative assistant with a diverse background, I’m excited to contribute to our Saint Agnes community. When I’m not spending time with family, I’m engaged in art-full activities. I look forward to connecting with each of you and am grateful for the opportunity to be here in this beautiful space.
Wishing you and your families love + blessings!
Dana Sherry, PhD: Social & Family Life Outreach Coordinator (ISLC) Dana Sherry comes to Saint Agnes as a scholar, as a traditional artist, and as a parent. She is finishing a Master’s degree at the Jesuit School of Theology that explores local pilgrimage as a way to encounter the sacred that surrounds us in the Bay Area. She lectures at Saint Mary’s College of California about the saints and about Russian history and literature, drawing on her PhD in Russian history and life experiences in Russia, Poland, Hungary, and the Republic of Georgia. She is also a traditional storyteller, telling folktales and stories of the saints for all ages.
Dana lives in Orinda with her husband, fifteen-year-old son, and two cats, and just last week her oldest son started college at the University of British Columbia. She is delighted to join the Saint Agnes community, and can’t wait to get to know you all!
