Acolyte

We invite you to consider becoming an Acolyte at our church. As an Acolyte, you will have the opportunity to serve God and our community in a special way. There is no age limit to become an Acolyte and no previous experience is necessary - we will provide all the training you need.

Here are some reasons why you might be excited to join this ministry:

• Serve at the altar: As an Acolyte, you will assist the priest and other ministers during worship services. You may carry the cross, light candles, or help prepare the altar for communion. This is a way to participate more fully in our worship services and to offer your gifts to God.

• Grow in faith: Serving as an Acolyte can be a deeply spiritual experience. You will have the opportunity to learn more about our faith, to grow in your own relationship with God, and to deepen your understanding of our liturgy and traditions.

• Build community: Serving as an Acolyte is a wonderful way to connect with others in our parish community. You will work closely with other Acolytes and ministers, and will have the opportunity to build friendships and support one another in your faith journey.

• Make a difference: By serving as an Acolyte, you will be helping to make our worship services more beautiful and meaningful. You will be a vital part of our community, offering your gifts and talents to help create a sacred and welcoming space for all who come to worship.

To become an Acolyte, all you need is an open and joyful spirit. We will provide all the training and preparation you need to have a wonderful experience serving at St. Agnes Church. We hope you will consider joining this ministry and offering your gifts to God and our community.
